Compared to transactional leaders, who are more focused on the achievement and efficiency of organizational goals, servant leaders are both innovative for the sake of the long-term organization progress and concerned about the welfare of their subordinates (Susanto et al., 2023). Thus, motivation of the strategic leaders is done through applying the shared strategic direction; motivation of the transformational leaders is done through inspiring vision and personal growth of the teams; and motivation of the transactional leaders is through provision of rewards and or punishments based on the performance tasks (Otto et al., 2021). Susanto et al. (2023) noted that leadership comes in various forms and has the potential to be adopted in various settings. Strategic leadership pays attention to the future and is key to a flexible leadership system. It is self-understood that transformational leadership creates the conditions of innovative and adaptable organisations. This is because the bases used in transactional leadership can be greatly tested, especially in organisations where there is much turbulence and less formalisation. On the flip side, servant leadership does not repeat similar mistakes and uses such incidents to improve the lot of its employees.
Choosing Strategic Leadership
When there is higher competition in the organizational environment, when the organization wants and needs vision in the future and when problem-solving, quick thinking, and the value of flexibility are important. Similarly, while transformational leadership may mobilise people in disastrous situations, it may do so even if this is the only type of leadership present. Transactional leadership is the method that guarantees organizational efficiency in stable conditions. On the other hand, servant leadership creates an atmosphere that is appropriate for the growth of a team and the advancement to the next level (Otto et al., 2021).

What the major stakeholders want and what they need in this company are the significant questions that may be answered in an analysis of their interests. Expectations of stakeholders can also involve both the expected result from an organization and the behaviour that will happen to facilitate the achievement of a certain goal. When it is clear what each of the stakeholders wants, it becomes easier to base your strategic goals on what they want; thus, the probability of those who should support the strategy to support it and the probability of stakeholders to fight over conflicting interests, as is the norm, is reduced.

Importance of Mission and Vision
